In 1954, South Bend would simply send these out to help plan your workshop. Note on the order form: "Should you wish to keep one or more models you may for $1.00 each." As someone obsessed with scale-models, tools, endless over-planning, and all-things mid-century machinery... this hit me in all the right places. Imagine if a modern-day tool manufacturer did this?
